The explorer mobile tents are large dome tents set on your own private wooden deck and come standard with 2 sleeping stretches made up with puffy camping mattress, white sheet, duvet and pillow, with lazy chairs looking into the riverbed acacia thickets.

2 separate private areas house showers and toilets for men and women with views of the famous Karoo stars and our beautiful dry river bed and bush thicket.

You will have 2 dedicated staff members who will ensure the camp and your tent remains clean and will be served 3 delicious meals daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We take a minimum booking of 4 people and a minimum of 2 nights’ stay is required. The camp can sleep a maximum of 10 people in 5 tents. The explorer camp is only open during spring and autumn to avoid extreme weather conditions, please enquire for dates. Children over the age of 12 years are welcome.
